Check out the new platform which was build 3 years ago as i write this tip. Platform ticket costs 10 bucks i think. Be ready with the change. There is a separate line though

The terminus has improved a lot from the earlier days, now it can be approached directly by overbridge, cleanliness has improved, parking space, new platforms, new waiting area, a nice experience

The newly developed station format is impressive and quite clean at the moment. Hope it stays the same and well maintained going forward.

Beware of the coolie and autos(hawks), waiting to fleece you once you get off on the west-side. PS: There is a prepaif auto/taxi booth under the flyover adjoining the station.

The new station is really good. It has mural of Mahesh Murti the famous lord shiva three face status of Elephanta Cave.

The new building is new, empty and clean. The old building is just the opposite.
