台北捷運中和新蘆線と松山新店線の乗り換え駅。相互の乗り換えはスムーズ。国立台湾師範大学と師大夜市の最寄駅です。Junction of Taipei MRT Yellow Line and Green Line. Transfer is smooth. Access Station of National Taiwan Normal Univ and Shida night market.

この近辺一帯の日本統治時代の名称は「古亭町 (こていちょう)」。清代は「鼓亭」と呼ばれていました。原住民タイヤル族の襲来に備えて、福建省泉州からの入植者が太鼓を置いた哨戒所を作り、タイヤル族襲来時には太鼓でそれを知らせたことから「鼓亭」という名前になったとか。
