The 7.08 to Victoria is just right to get a coffee at the Village Bakers outside the station. Better coffee and much cheaper than on the station platform.

Grab a coffee and pastry just outside the station entrance ( London bound side ) at the Village Bakery. Best around, great value and best service. Open at 7am, or just before.

Visit the village bakery just outside the station, London bound platform side. Best coffee, and pastries, served with a smile too.

If driving to the station watch out for the imbeciles who can't drive or park - total liability while they wait for their friends/family!

make sure to check its the right train they throw a random London Bridge train in every now and then
