For a lovely shady park there's a surprising lack of park benches. Unless you want to sit near the playgrounds

Wow! More than 40,000 seedlings including flowering annuals and bulbs were planted in 2010 in the Queens Park gardens in preparation for Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers. That's a whole lot of planting
