It's never a good idea for an eight year old to run around in a dog park. Kids get hurt when seventy lb dogs jump on them. Seriously people.

There are three sections of the dog park: individual, small dogs and big dogs. Some people take little dogs into the big dog pen because it's so big, so be prepared if you have a bully breed.
