To park in the cool shade in the late p.m. the best spots are probably right next to the NE corner of the building. If you come earlier, the best shade trees are on the north side of the parking lot.

Visit sdcl.org, request the materials you want/ need, and pick them up when they're ready! Convenient when you don't have time to peruse the stacks, or need something from another branch.

The Friends of the Library Bookstore, "The Bottom Shelf", has books as low as 10 CENTS! What a deal! (I also bought postcards here)
