Great beer garden, friendly bar staff, pizzas look great (although haven't tried them)

Now renamed The Huntsman, the food is of exceptional quality. It's had a serious make over. The pizzas are thin and crispy. I had the wild mushroom and spinach linguini. It was Devine.

Decent B&B accommodation. Food is awful. Over-cooked vegetables, a glob of goat's cheese & chutney dressed as a tart; a foul paste disguised as pesto and soggy, tasteless pasta to round it out.

Get the steak medium rare, side of beer battered onion rings and a Bombay sapphire and tonic and youll have the best lunch!

Great service. Chap behind the bar carried my pint from one bar to the other, and a particularly (0 degrees-ish) cold evening offered to take hot water out to thaw the lock on my girlfriend's vehicle.
