Herds of dear at Sunrise near the lake bed. New York strip steak at the restaurant was fantastic. Hard to print boarding passes at the front desk. Get there EARLY!

This wonderful lodge is nestled on the shore of Lake Altus-Lugert in the Quartz Mountain Nature Park. Cozy lodge rooms with SW decor, gourmet cuisine, art, golf course, hiking, boating and more.

What a great setting! If you ever need a place to stop over for a night in SW OK, go out of your way to find this spot. It takes some work, but this is a gem of a find!
