We stayed here b/c of an appt with Welk Resorts (i.e. timeshares). We didn't buy one! The hotel is clean and run well. Next time I'd rather stay somewhere more immersed in the Tahoe experience.

There is a bus to Northstar (15-20min ride) or Truckee downtown (15-20min ride) every hour. Bus stop is at the parking lotIt comes every hour from 7am -5pm (check the schedule at front desk).

King suite has fireplace, long balcony, jacuzzi, and great view (minus the airport, but meh). Spring for it.

10 minute drive from Northstar. Free breakfast, free Internet, and decent rooms. Recommend.
