The walk up to the lighthouse is surreal as if you are walking through the past. The views around the lighthouse are awesome. It makes for a fun detour on a long car trip.

If you're lucky enough to visit around noon on a Sunday, the keeper does a short tour inside of the lighthouse where you can climb to the top and get a great view of the Hudson.

You have to walk about a half mile to get there from land. Tide schedule listed at entrance to trail. Picnic area at lighthouse so bring wine and snacks and stay awhile!

Awesome B&B, but you need to reserve months in advance. The lighthouse keeper makes you the best breakfast in town.
