Sadly the food & decor have gone considerably down hill, now just bland & generic pub fare. New ownership & apparently the chef left. Won’t be coming back, it’s certainly not a gastropub any more :(

Try the Flight of Glenfiddich as an alternative desert. Enjoy a nip of (or wee dram measures) 12, 15 & 18 yr old Glenfiddich whiskies. Perfect savouring by the open fire. Go on, you know you want to.

Chef is not up to hype. Generally tasteless - runny risotto and poorly cooked fatty pork belly. I make better cauli cheese. noisy atmosphere in converted garage part of Inn. Not worth the ££
