Avoid on big race days. However the food is pretty good on quiet nights, when you can usually get a table inside.

Sadly average on this occasion ... Insufficient staff and very long waits for food but they were able to still clean the windows while we waited !

Think you have to be early to nab the seat by the fire. Place trying too hard to be a country pub but really friendly staff. Worth stopping for a pint if you're passing.
