Take your aerospace knowledge to new heights at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum with its hands-on activities & displays. Be sure to check out the planetarium for a 3-D look into the night skies.

Did you know? Aviation has a long history in Tulsa, going back to a smoke balloon flight in 1897, the city’s first aviation event.

Several NASA astronauts began their careers flying jets just like the F-14 on display. Prior to joining NASA, Scott Altman was a Naval fighter pilot and flew stunt flights in the movie Top Gun.

Municipal Airport opened in 1928 & had two aircraft hangars where the aircrafts were hung. There are artifacts from the attack on Pearl Harbor and visitors can listen to some survivor stories.

In addition to the large collection of planes, the simulators are great. The planetarium show is awesome.
