Very unique experience. This Icelandic shark cannot be cooked. It is aged for 6 months and you can taste it. The museum is filled with interesting tools and shark bones/skulls among other things.

Smells ... exactly like you'd expect a museum about rotten shark to smell. I'm generally an adventurous eater, but this was a bit too much for me.

You can taste the rotten shark and there is quite good museum with lot of interesting items.

The rotten shark is not as bad as they say. It's more like a strong cheese. Visit the museum and the drying house at the back
