Feb 2020 entrance fee is 1000 LKR per person and then any donation is also welcomed. The farm is small but anyway it’s interesting to learn about turtles and hold them in hands.

Small but important conservation effort. Well worth a visit. Releasing a turtle back to the ocean is a memorable experience.

Really awesome to see the turtles being saved. Males get released when a couple days old and female after 5 years. Costs 1-2k rupees (depending on your negotiation) if you want to release some. 🐢

За черепахами реально ухаживают, оберегают и оказывают помощь. Экземпляров взрослых действительно не оч много, в основном больные черепахи. Вход стоил 500 рупий с лица, за 250₽ вполне нормально.

Admission is 1000 LKR pp plus donation of choice. A dozen turtles of different species, and hatchlings. Would recommend the other hatchery north on Galle Rd, close to Bentota. It's free and friendly.

За 10 мин вам показывают 5 ванн с черепашками разных возрастов.Потом подводят к столу и просят пожертвовать денег.Вход стоит 1000 рупий и непонятно, куда они уходят, если просят ещё. Неприятно

Искренне восхищена тем, как много делается для маленьких и больших черепашек. Как заботятся о пострадавших, с какой душой рассказывают о своём деле. Обязательное для посещения место.

Turtle hatchery. From one day old turtles to old disabled ones. Definitely worth a visit. A small souvenir shop is there as well. It's not a tourist trap, they really care about the turtles. 🐢
