Twilight and night views are good. Going at night? Stay there for a while and watch buddha in different colours. All you need is 10min.

This was an inspiration from 'The Statue of Liberty', N.T.Rama Rao while his visit to New York was overwhelmed by the Statue and hence from that point of time he decided to build the Buddha Statue.

The statue was ready to put on the platform in 1990 but due to the accident the statue was in water for 2 years and finally was kept in place during December 1992. It's one of the attractions in HYD.
