Castle was closed when we were there. Definitely coming back. Great running trails and outdoor spaces

Great park in Kilmarnock with kids play area and petting zoo (pigs, lamas, goats etc) all for free. Plenty of park benches and tables for picnics

Castle is falling apart :( sadly there isn't enough money to restore it and it's unclear what will be done... There's also a zoo. Wasps EVERYWHERE

Buy some animal food from the centre and feed the animals. Great fun for the kids.

Access to the park is free all year round and the castle offers free tours. Great animal enclosures for the kids. Excellent play park with picnic benches.
