Beautiful cathedral. Tombstone od Chaterine of Aragorn is here. Lots of information around to read and the volunteers were very friendly and helpful. Very recommended.

Possibly the best place to visit in Peterborough. A Medievalist dream. You can spend a good two hours exploring the church and close.

After her execution at nearby Fotheringhay Castle, Mary Queen of Scots was buried here on 30 July 1587 by order of Elizabeth I. However, in 1612, James I had her remains brought to Westminster Abbey.

Very beautiful, but a bit too keen for donations to fix roofs/build spires/spread lies. If you're a fan of hard selling, this is the holy house for you.

Do the tower tour it is worth it. Fantastic views from the highest point in Peterborough.
