Changuimun (창의문)
서울 성곽의 4소문(小門) 가운데 하나로 일명 자하문(紫霞門)이라고 한다. 1396년(태조 5년)에 도성 8문의 하나로 창건되었으나 1413년 이후로는 창의문이 경복궁을 내리누르는 위치에 있다는 풍수지리설적 해석 때문에 폐쇄되어 일반적인 출입은 금지되었다. 현재의 문루(門樓)는 1741년에 세운 것으로 4소문 가운데 유일하게 남아 있는 중요한 유적이다. 1956년에 이 문을 보수할 때 장여 속에서 묵서가 나왔는데 여기에는 1741년 6월 16일에 상량을 하였다고 적혀 있어서 건립연대를 정확히 알 수 있었다.
