Long waiting line before security check. One of the worst high speed train stations in East China.

Do not mix up Suzhou Railway Station with Suzhou North Railway station! The Chinese name is SuzhouBEI, and like Beijing, they're both North of Suzhou

To grab a bite at Xionghe 永和 is not a bad idea before you get on the train. Dumplings , Youtiao, Soy milk, beef noodles from there is pretty goo to me, they can make cold soy milk too.

Its aprox 30 min away from the city. Aprox 50 rmb (minimum) taxi ride to SIP.

There are two stations called 苏州北站. Be careful that you are at the Gao Tie Bei Zhan and not Lao Bei Zhan!
