Renovated to a god standard. My go to hotel for London as it’s near the station.

Very small rooms, ok for single travellers and slightly challenging if you are over 6ft

They are currently renovating. Room was poorly set up, the kettle and coffee maker were on the table the tv was on. Few plugins. The room desperately needed painting and the carpet was dirty.

Comfy bed, very clean. Refurbished rooms are still tiny but brand new. Great for solo traveler.

I had none of the problems others mention here, other than the room being basically a bed with a bathroom. I've stayed in worse. This was convenient.

Tired paintwork and carpets. Pokey, noisy rooms. Coat hangers that don't fit the wardrobe, missing furniture, poor tv. And, above all, EXPENSIVE for what it offers. Clean though.

The rooms are quite small but the worst thing is the air conditioning makes a sound like somebody is drilling on the wall about every two minutes

To stop the ear splitting scream of the aircon, turn it off. It does start dripping but a towel dampens the sound.
