Love the improved lobby but the valet only parking rate is absolutely abusive! Park anywhere else in town & save $$$

Great pet friendly location that's a 10-15 mins walk from almost everything to do in downtown. $45/daily for valet is pricey so self park may be a better option

Location is excellent! Steps to the Westfield Horton Plaza mall and close to the Gaslamp Quarter!

Excellent service and location. Had a bachelorette party here and the staff happily brought us extra ice and trash cans! Amazing views of San Diego!

Muito bom! Água gratuita, super limpo e moderno. Quartos espaçosos e confortáveis. Localização inigualável! Tem uma Starbucks dentro do hotel. Colado ao Westinfield, tem uma CVS e Macy's super fácil!

Westin Gaslamp hotel guests: Ask the concierge about the guaranteed taxi rate card to Lindbergh airport. As of 15 Aug 2013, it's $13 + gratuity for the taxi driver.

Make sure to get the highest floor you can! Mountains in front of you, ocean to the right, NBC Building on the left~ Don't look down if you're afraid of heights though! ;>)

Some of the online reviews are dead wrong. This is a great renovation and the service has been excellent. Feat walkable area, too. Be sure to try Cafe St. Tropez next door--delish!

One of my favorite hotels to stay in SD. 4th floor balcony. That's where I always request to stay. I like to indulge an a cigar or two, with a drink and warm weather do it right outside the room?!?

If you're driving in and looking to valet park during the outside renovation, it's best to come in via 1st Ave & E St. But if you want to self-park, the entrance is on 1st Ave just BEFORE E St.
