Staff is very helpfull and friendly. Hotel is pretty outdated but clean and everything works as it is expected. Very nice view over Edinburgh from our room at the fifth floor! Breakfast is ok.

Like all holiday inn in scotland they two have a starbucks in the hotel :)

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms but you have to pay extra for WIFI (boo!) unless you are a hotel member (lucky me) not so lucky for my travel mates. Quiet. A bit removed from the action.

Room 514 has brilliant (almost) panoramic views and a view of the castle :)

41 bus takes you from just opposite the hotel to most of the main city centre locations in about 15 minutes

If taking buses from/ to city central just 15 mins. Please take Lothia 41 or First 43. Just right beside Caleigh shopping centre
