Ask for a lake view room on 3rd / 4th floor when checking in - the “thermal valley” rooms have no view at all. Try the pancakes at breakfast - it’s not on the menu, but included in the full brekkie

My parents and I fell in love with the hotel and city. This was probably the first time I truly experienced a 5-star service and quality hotel in NZ. The staff were very professional and welcoming.

One of the best hotel gyms I've come across. A good number of machines and great view over the pool.
