I have been to Mexico and I grew up in Southern California, and this place does not serve anything close to authentic Mexican food. The burrito had lettuce and tomatoes on top of the burrito! Fail!!!!

Love the tacos and free chips and salsa. Though b warned the salsa is kinda hot and they don't make a mild version (which it would b nice if they did). If u ask for mild they bring u enchalada sauce.

My parents lived in Texas for at least 30 years and they both agree that Mexico Viejo is the best Tex-Mex restaurant they have tried in South Dakota. The food is great despite the poor presentation.
