NO CELL PHONES. Security does not allow cell phones in the courthouse, so leave it in the car or if your walking leave it at home. There are no exceptions, I've seen people have to bury their phones.

A visit to the courthouse generally involves official business, even for criminal cases, so you should dress appropriately. Trust me, the judges notice.
