a great way to spend a couple hours in the afternoon. easy history lesson and quite educational. unfortunately they don't let you touch anything but very nice tour guides.

The Magnolia Mound Plantation is a perfect example of Creole architecture. It has raised foundations, wrap around galleries, and is made of Cyprus beams and bousillage filling. View C-SPAN video
